Scripts & Files:
Here's some simple information on 3rd party relaying in your mail server and a quick utility to test to see if your defenses are up. This is a php file that you would probably just include() that gives you the ability to attach files to email. Format: send_efile ( To Address, From Address, Real Name, Subject, Message, Filename, A short filename for the client, mime-type {optional}); This app will compile a filename cache of your mp3's and then let you search/generate playlists from that cache far faster than windows can on a filesystem with many GB of files. Win32 only. .pl and .exe available. This php class will help you talk to your cyrus mail server. Pretty cut and dry. Instructions are in the comments. This script is pretty complex. It reads in a list of users from a database upon detecting a message sitting in a directory. Once it has that list, it fires up a defineable number of children processes using fork to deliver the messages. It then updates an accounting database entry and sends the person who owns the list an accounting summary. Requires IO::Socket and DBI. One of my toughest projects in PERL. Open this file in notepad, insert your login username/password in the fields and then run it. You won't have to log into your NT based workstation anymore... This script will help you do a search/replace on your m3u files so that if you move what drive letter or mapped location your mp3's are at, you don't have to redo the whole playlist. Frontpage 2002 Extensions have a nasty habit of adding up to 5 local machine groups per web. Not only does this make for a messy user domain but it will prevent the extensions from working on BDC's. This file will add the registry key to prevent the group adding. This is the same as sendmail.pl basically but is the newest version and allows for file attachments to be submitted as well. A simple text-based counter for use in .shtml documents. A complete authentication / user maintenance solution. Either in PHP or Cold Fusion This one will add up to 254 addresses to a Windows NT/2000 machine in a single swipe, making setup of webservers easier. This combination of JavaScript and PHP is probably the most comprehensive way to prevent people from downloading your images from your website. Details in the comments of the program. Just install this little .REG file on your NT/2000 machine and you'll get the features of Command Line Completion while using the DOS Shell. A pair of .REG files that ease the process of swapping shells from Explorer to LiteStep. For Win2000 or NT 4. This little ditty will read in lines from a text file that describe web pages for the script to grab, and if desired, email the returned page to you in an email. Requires HTTP::Request, LWP::UserAgent, IO::Socket. This little ditty will do encryption/decryption of your blowfish needs. Version 3.3 A sendmail-free alternative form2email script. Requires IO::Socket and works on NT. Takes all name-value pairs and sends them to whomever. Version 2.1 This is my dynamic dns client application. It allows clients to authenticate against my mySQL db and change hostname->ip mappings on our DNS servers. Requires IO::Socket Actually written by BitS, these scripts assist in the jail() building process on FreeBSD 4.X This simple script will build a start_if.if0 file for your FreeBSD machine so that when you reboot an entire class C will be bound to your interface. These little quickies use `tr` to remove ^M and ^Z characters from your files that have come over from a Windows machine. Nice if dos2unix isn't handy.. This will go through the entire /home directory and assign a quota (issued from the command line) to each of those users listed in there. A sh & php combination that allows you to offer email forwarders to people from your domain name without them having absolute control of the /etc/mail directory.. There was some actual work put in on this one... |
